[WARNING]
This is a lame post. You can stop reading it now if you want. Don't judge my un-serious moments, you can always shoot me later if you want though.

Do you remember how, in the pre-mobile era, we used to use the phone in the house to call our friends? We would be so polite when our friends' moms picked up and all. We'd also fight with siblings over who talks on the phone, that was cool! Remember those days?
Oh, and the best part was that if that friend who's talking on the phone was so boring, we'd say: oh I'm sorry, but my mother needs the phone right now, I have to hang up. LOL. Oh, you didn't do that? I guess it was just me then. Hahaha! (I hope none of those friends are readings this now though, ahem.)
Anyways, so yeah! I decided to do that again! I called my bestfriend Sara from our house's phone (since my mobile's bill is... no comment...) and I asked her to call me from her house's phone. It felt as if I was 'recycling' or 'going green' or something, I don't know why, haha! Anyways, I was waiting by the phone, waiting for it to ring, I was so freaking excited! And it did! And we talked! I felt like I was in grade 2 all over again! Such a great feeling, I tell ya!
And then I called a couple of other friends. That was cool.
Yeah, and that is it.
Point of this post? No point really, just sharing a random thought.
Can I tell you a secret? I don't think the term "house's phone" is the right one, but I'm too lazy to look up the right term. You get what I'm saying, that's what matters.

[Got ya! Continuing post.]
My advice to you is: GO OUT THERE, do something you haven't done in a while! Maybe call up your childhood friends and hang out in the neighborhood or play with barbies like old times. It's a refreshing experience!
P.S.: Don't worry, I'm not turning into a life coach or anything, I'm just being random.

Hhhhhh. I liked it. I wish I can call my best childhood/teenage friend. Old days.
ReplyDeleteYou can do something else you used to do as a child, like sew clothes for your barbies :p Haha.
ReplyDeleteI loved this post it reminded of something similar! I remember when we were kids we were playing under the rain, but as I was growing up I was somehow feeling shy to do so. Last time when it was raining I did what I was doing years back, playing under rain. I tell you, it was so exciting and I enjoyed it alot!
ReplyDeleteIncrease the number of lame posts if there is insight behind them :)
It's good that you came out of your shyness! Hehe.
ReplyDeleteThank you, I guess I will. :p
