Bored in Class I

Wednesday, March 9, 2011.

8:45 am. In class. Super sleepy.

The professor keeps repeating how Obama was elected. I get it already, but he keeps repeating.

*yawn*

It feels as if my brain turned into some type of gas and is roaming around the room.. I could feel my brain over my head, but not in it.

8:50 am. Still in class. Professor mentions something about "interest groups" and boom, I wake up! Aren't they the same as lobbies? He explains. He talks about something else, and i got back to admiring my floating brain again.

Madonna's song floats in to my head: time goes by, so slowly.

It does. No really, it does go super slowly.

8:55 am. Mona, my bestfriend grins. I ask her why is she grinning, and it appear that she was smiling to a classmate, who is also a Student Council member. Awesome.

*yawn*

8:58 am. Apparently, n fully democratic countries, it would've taken much longer for them to do what Dubai did, because getting everyone's agreement there would take longer.

9:03 am. The professor starts a sentence saying "if you're ha..(ving)" and I start singing "If you're happy and you know it clap your hands!" in my head.

9:05 am. *yawn* and professor sees me.

9:06 am. Professor says "If you're..." again, and I start singing again. Oh Barney, what have you done!

*yawn*

9:10 am. A girl flips through her pages, I contemplate about the beautiful colorful lines - actually the highlights on those pages.

9:11 am. A student asks a question and ruins my contemplation with her accent.

9:13 am. I stare at Mona as she writes her notes in pencil and in a handwriting I could never read. She's wearing her Abaya sleeve in a weird way btw, she must be feeling cold..

9:15 am. Is he saying that's it? Nope, he continues talking.

9:17 am. Lol. Mona put everything in her handbag already.

*yawn*

9:18 am. Two more minutes.

*yawn* and he sees me again.

I wrote this during my 8 am class. I was super sleepy, and the professor already caught me texting on my blackberry, so I had no other solution to stay awake than this.

My friend Marwa's comment on this was: "Every moment @SanaHMH proves she's weirder than the minute before :) @FatmaBujsaim plz l7ge 3alaiha".

Ah well.
