The Social Heart Print

Have you ever tried measuring your social heart print (the equivalence of ecological foot-print)?

This idea just came to me. How can we know how much effect have we left in the lives of others? How do we know if we were ever successful in making someone happy or making someone feel better after having the worst time of their lives?

I asked myself many, many questions, which, if answered, might give an indication of a proper measurement for the social-heart-print. However, I realized that even if there was a questionnaire made out of a thousand question, we would still be without a proper answer, obviously.

Then I thought, smiling is a first step. Calling up a friend and saying something positive is another. The list could go and on.

But imagine, if each one of us had the aim to increase that social heart print, just for the sake of spreading love and happiness in the world, not for the sake of 'networking' for 'other' purposes. If that was done, then life could actually be a tolerable place to live in! Just imagine!

Bottom line: let's increase our social heart prints people! Even if we can never measure it right!
