Today I've been asked over 10 times (through sms, bbm, and face to face) whether we have a day off tomorrow because of "Prophet's Birthday" or not. I kept repeating the answer "no, because there are no make up days for holidays anymore, after Sheikh Khalifa's decision," over and over again.
At some point someone was like: WHY!! WE SHOULD HAVE A HOLIDAY!! GIVE US A HOLIDAY!
Okay duude chillll!! I am a member in the Student Council, but I am not the minister of Education! These decisions come from hiiigh above! Like seriously, I am a student, I would love to have a day off as well!
It is called the Student Council, not the National Federal Council. Anyways.
On a totally different subject, I caught this really bad flu. I couldn't sleep well last night and I barely survived today in the university. My sister tells me that I should skip tomorrow. That would be a good idea except that I have a quiz, and I'm not sure how I'm going to study for it. Khair enshallah.
