Ignore That Relationship - Let Go

Some relationships are better broken. No, not broken, and not not broken, just ignored.

As you grow older you realize that when your efforts to maintain certain relationships are not appreciated, you simply have to let go.

Learn to accept that people change, and that by time you lose respect for some people because of their actions. It's natural. This is life.
It's amazing how many situations we conclude by saying: This is life. It's like we paint life to be this ugly creature that should be blamed, when it isn't. I guess it is just easier to blame something that cannot defend itself.

Sometimes, letting go is disturbed by our memories of those people. You remember their good deeds. The things they did for you. You think that maybe you should not let go, you should fight harder. Your attempts multiply, your efforts become even more obvious, even for them; but they choose to take that for granted, and nothing really changes.

Then you decide to ignore that relationship. You let go.

It's not that you are being ungrateful. It's not that you're being disrespectful. You just have that honor and pride that you have been trying to not think of to maintain that relationship all along, and you realize at some point that you deserve something better. They're not worth it.

It is just part of growing. You think of your life, how it is going, your priorities, and the people that are important to you.

You accept the changes that you decide to make in your life. You grow.

Exactly why i blame the bed for being so comfy and prevents me from waking up, and the food for being so delicious and making me fat! Y U SO delicious XD lol aaaanyway.

"You just have that honor and pride"

    Exactly, well said.

"you have been trying to not think of to maintain that relationship"

It's called sacrifice. When it is unbalanced in a relationship it'll lead to someone being hurt and feeling unappreciated.

    "your priorities"

Put a million line under 'priorities'.
